Affirm · Charlotte, NC · 2 mo ago
RemoteRemoteMarketing$195k–$255k/yrFull-time

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. Consumers across the globe need safe, transparent financing while merchants want to provide users with their preferred way to pay and convert more buyers.

About the role

The Senior Product Manager for our 1:Many Growth team will help achieve Affirm’s vision by expanding our Distribution Partnerships program. This program, internally called "1:Many," is one of the highest-leverage growth levers at the company. Instead of integrating merchant by merchant, we integrate once into a platform merchants already use, and every merchant on that platform becomes reachable through that single integration.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow Affirm's partner portfolio, making it easier and more frictionless for merchants to onboard and offer Affirm as a payment method to their customers. This includes taking product ownership of Affirm's existing vertical software partnerships and growing the broader portfolio of platform partners still being stood up.
  • Develop a Partner Acceleration Strategy to build durable capabilities that make every future partner integration faster to launch and easier to scale, rather than solving the same problem one partner at a time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial, merchant risk, design, product analytics, and engineering to define, launch, and grow integrations with platform partners.
  • Build relationships with platform partners to gather feedback and insights on product performance, and use it to drive merchant growth.
  • Define and prioritize product features and requirements to improve the customer, partner, and merchant experience.
  • Create and manage the product roadmap for the broader 1:Many growth team.
  • Develop success metrics/OKRs to measure the effectiveness of these initiatives.
  • Partner with commercial and product marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new partner integrations and features.

Requirements

  • Directly managed multiple technical software products from kick-off to post-launch, driving meaningful business impact.
  • Comfortable diving into technical details with engineers, iterating on designs with designers, and breaking down funnels with data analysts.
  • Discipline, organizational skills, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Bias towards action and ability to effectively navigate obstacles and blockers.
  • Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into a solid action plan.
  • Direct experience shipping high-quality products on time.
  • Comfortable with the commercial aspects of product development, including externally facing roles where you can speak confidently about the product, set expectations, and influence outcomes beneficial to Affirm and our partners.

Qualifications

Bonus points: experience in Fintech, Lending, ecommerce, or BNPL.

Pay

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure based on location, experience, and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits.

  • USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $195,000 - $255,000
  • USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $173,000 - $233,000

Schedule

Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company! The majority of our roles are remote, and you can work almost anywhere within the country of employment. Affirmers in proximal roles have the flexibility to work remotely but may occasionally be required to work out of their assigned Affirm office. A limited number of roles remain office-based due to the nature of their job responsibilities.

  • Health care coverage: Affirm covers all premiums for all levels of coverage for you and your dependents.
