Senior Product Manager, 1: Many Merchant Growth
About the role
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. The Senior Product Manager for our 1:Many Growth team will help achieve this vision by owning and growing Affirm's partner portfolio, making it easier for merchants to onboard and offer Affirm as a payment method.
Affirm's Distribution Partnerships program ("1:Many") is a high-leverage growth lever. Instead of integrating merchant by merchant, we integrate once into a platform merchants already use, and every merchant on that platform becomes reachable through that single integration.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow Affirm's partner portfolio, improving the onboarding experience for merchants to offer Affirm as a payment method.
- Take product ownership of Affirm's existing vertical software partnerships and expand the broader portfolio of platform partners.
- Develop a Partner Acceleration Strategy to build durable capabilities that make future partner integrations faster to launch and easier to scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (commercial, merchant risk, design, product analytics, engineering) to define, launch, and grow integrations with platform partners.
- Build relationships with platform partners to gather feedback and insights, driving merchant growth.
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements to enhance the customer, partner, and merchant experience.
- Create and manage the product roadmap for the 1:Many growth team.
- Develop success metrics/OKRs to measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
- Partner with commercial and product marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new integrations and features.
Requirements
- Direct experience managing multiple technical software products from kick-off to post-launch, driving meaningful business impact.
- Comfort working with engineers on technical details, designers on Figma iterations, and data analysts on funnel breakdowns.
- Strong discipline, organizational skills, and interpersonal communication to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
- Bias toward action and ability to navigate obstacles and blockers effectively.
- Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into a solid action plan.
- Experience shipping high-quality products on time.
- Comfort with commercial aspects of product development, including externally facing roles, expectation setting, and influencing outcomes.
Bonus points: Experience in Fintech, Lending, ecommerce, or BNPL.
Pay
Employees new to Affirm typically start at the beginning of the pay range. Affirm provides a transparent pay structure based on location, experience, and job-related skills.
