Senior Product Designer, Core Seller

The Core Seller team at Etsy is focused on helping sellers thrive at any stage of their journey. We believe in the need to maintain a rigorous focus on craft and consistency in order to bring our strategy and mission to life.

Responsibilities

• Help our smallest and largest sellers grow their businesses using Etsy Ads.
• Work in close collaboration with cross-functional partners in engineering, research, analytics, marketing, and product management to ensure that advertising on Etsy continues to be a great investment for our sellers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience working in product design.
• A consistent track record of shipped work that demonstrates a strong understanding of design fundamentals, including visual hierarchy, interaction design, and the application of brand and system principles.
• Worked closely with cross-functional partners to identify and define new opportunities, and efficiently implemented ideas that deliver measurable positive results.
• Broadly developed design skills, including crafting end-to-end flows, creating polished prototypes, demonstrating industry-standard interaction patterns, and applying a design system efficiently.
• Experience designing for native apps (iOS and Android), and familiarity with platform-specific interaction patterns.
• Articulate ideas and design solutions clearly and thoughtfully.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and know how to navigate and define projects where the problem space is well-understood but the solution space is less established.
