About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who combines exceptional craft with deep product thinking to help shape the next generation of MaintainX’s AI-first product experience. You'll lead design across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and research through prototyping and polished UI, for both web and mobile.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design for complex product surfaces across web and mobile, from problem framing through high-fidelity delivery.
Design AI-powered experiences for frontline users like maintenance technicians and facility managers, making workflows simpler and smarter without adding complexity.
Think in systems: spot patterns, build for reuse, and contribute to our design system with a focus on consistency, scalability, and high craft.
Present design work with clear rationale, integrate feedback from stakeholders, and champion high quality and accessibility across the product lifecycle.
Use AI tools in your own design process to accelerate your work and push the quality ceiling of your output.

Requirements

6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion with strong design system and handoff practices.
Experience designing for AI and data-rich experiences.
You're a systems thinker who naturally spots patterns, builds for reuse, and considers how design decisions scale across a product.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design intent, navigate ambiguous product spaces, and influence cross-functional peers.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers.
Ability to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive user experiences.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with design systems.

Skills
