This role is a highly experienced leadership position requiring 5–7 years of experience in leading and developing teams to support business strategy, with a focus on operational efficiency, cost reduction, key programs, and process management. The Senior Operations Manager will guide and influence the development of managers, support talent selection and retention, and enable succession planning across the network.
Responsibilities
- Support business strategy by driving results in safety, quality, and performance while improving efficiency and scalability.
- Lead, develop, and grow a team of approximately 7 managers and their supporting teams across multiple shifts and departments, leveraging strong emotional intelligence.
- Oversee recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training of leaders.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making and take ownership of outcomes.
- Promote equity across the organization and within the network.
- Manage warehouse financial standards, including annual budgeting, expenditure monitoring, variance identification, and corrective actions.
- Drive KPI metrics, 4DX, and facility performance scorecards.
- Collaborate with on-site and virtual operational support teams to test, pilot, and implement solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of warehouse experience in a managerial role.
- Proven time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in developing leaders and growing leadership competencies in direct reports.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Excellence in managing projects, programs, and initiatives within a facility.
- Ability to analyze data and take action based on improvement opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay
$80,500.00 – $135,500.00 annual.
