Senior Operations Manager

About the role

The Senior Operations Manager role is critical to Kasa's mission of providing high-quality, tech-enabled hospitality services. Reporting to an Area General Manager, you will oversee a team that ensures exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team comprising rooms, housekeeping, maintenance, security, and food and beverage departments.
• Drive operating profit per unit by managing revenues, controlling costs, and collaborating with the Commercial team.
• Maintain guest satisfaction by monitoring feedback and addressing recurring issues.
• Promote a culture of service excellence and operational efficiency.
• Build relationships with local businesses, vendors, and the broader community.
• Implement Kasa core values in decision-making and action-taking.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hotel management experience.
• Proficiency with property management systems and other hospitality software.
• Demonstrated ability to improve guest experience scores.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves to address tasks.
• Experience in creating and implementing strategies to enhance revenue.
• Ability to empathize and lead with intuition.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to anticipate future trends.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Strong leadership skills in hiring and dismissing personnel.
• Understanding of financial statements and operational data.
• Ability to reconcile and educate on cultural norms.
• Effective communication skills, able to influence at all levels.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, relevant experience can substitute for some educational requirements.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hotel management experience.
• Skills: Proficiency with property management systems, strong leadership, strategic thinking, data analysis, and communication skills.

Pay

The starting base pay range for this role is between $80,000 - $90,000 annually and is set based on multiple considerations including business needs, market demands, talent availability, experience, and unique skills and attributes. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Schedule

Full-time position requiring frequent on-site presence.
