About the role
The Senior Operations Manager will support Arvato's growing facilities in Pleasant, Prairie. Key responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, monitoring and adjusting processes, and ensuring the highest quality service for customers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain production, quality, reliability, and safety requirements
- Hire, train, evaluate, and develop production management staff
- Serve as key communication link between operations and customers (internal and external)
- Logistics Management of Operations: Coordinating warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products to customers daily and supports client month/year end activities
- UKG Labor Management: Monitors and ensures all frontline supervisors are accurately accounting for labor efforts in correct cost centers and project codes
- Prepares OPS data as required (weekly, monthly, quarterly KPI data)
- Supports Quality Management System and corrective actions
- Oversight for Safety and engagement as required
- Responsible for client KPI’s: On Time Delivery, Inventory Control, Claims, On Time shipping
- Training of warehouse associates for all functional areas
- Team Leadership: Leading and managing a team of OPS Supervisors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that goals and objectives are met
- Inventory Management: Oversight to ensure inventory control metrics are aligned and OPS functional processes are not creating errors for inventory control. Supports customer audits and physical inventory as required
- Process/Continuous Improvement: Identifies areas for improvement within QMS processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and minimize waste throughout the supply chain
- Closing collaboration with Quality Department
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be flexible, self-motivated, analytical and possess excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience driving process improvement initiatives.
- Proven leadership capabilities with ability to interact easily with individuals at all levels and functions, both within and outside the organization will be critical to this role.
- 10+ years of operations experience within a multi-client supply chain and high-tech environment including developing, motivating, and leading cross functional teams
- Active management of production, quality, and technical support areas
- Workforce Management experience
