About the role

The Senior Operations Manager role is critical to Kasa's mission of providing high-quality, tech-enabled hospitality services. Reporting to an Area General Manager, you will oversee a team responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and optimizing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team comprising rooms, housekeeping, maintenance, security, and food and beverage operations.
  • Drive operating profit per unit by managing revenues, controlling costs, and collaborating with the Commercial team.
  • Maintain guest satisfaction by monitoring feedback and addressing recurring issues.
  • Promote a culture of excellence in service and operations, aligning with Kasa's core values.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, vendors, and the broader community.
  • Identify and implement strategies to enhance guest experience and profitability.
  • Collaborate with partners and guests to resolve issues and improve performance.
  • Define and evaluate the activities of various stakeholders, integrating Kasa's core values into decision-making.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hotel management experience.
  • Proficiency with property management systems and other core hospitality software.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive guest experience scores.
  • No task too small mentality – willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done.
  • Experience in identifying and securing business partnerships to expand revenue streams.
  • Ability to lead with empathy, understanding, and intuition.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to anticipate future trends and develop effective long-term strategies.
  • Experience in leveraging historical data to predict future events and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective team-building skills, including the ability to hire and develop high performers and part ways with underperformers.
  • Understanding of financial statements and operational data, and the ability to interpret and make informed recommendations.
  • Ability to reconcile and educate others on cultural norms to promote awareness, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Confidence and clarity in communication, able to partner and influence at all levels, and deliver feedback.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field, and relevant work experience in hotel management. A master's degree or additional certifications in hospitality management can be beneficial.

Pay

The starting base pay range for this role is between $80,000 - $90,000 annually and is set based on multiple considerations including business needs, market demands, talent availability, experience, and unique skills and attributes. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, bonus, perks, benefits, and Kasa Travel Credits.

Schedule

Full-time position requiring frequent on-site presence at assigned properties.
