Senior Mortgage Loan Officer

About the role

Assist members through the full real estate loan process, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining strong communication with members and third-party partners.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals by following up on pre-approvals, assisting with loan applications, and providing product recommendations.
• Obtain feedback, review supporting documents, and guide members on requirements.
• Initiate outbound calls, visit branches, participate in seminars, and build relationships with realtors and title companies.
• Lock rates, manage loan timelines, and deliver high member service.
• Participate in training and mentor team members on loan processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; must meet or have met NMLS requirements.
• Minimum 3 years related experience or relevant training.
• Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations, financial statements, credit reports, title reports, insurance, and appraisals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to interpret regulations, structure loans, and deliver excellent member service.
