Senior Mortgage Loan Officer

About the role

Support members through the full real estate loan process, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining effective communication with members, realtors, title companies, and processors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loan applications, pre-approvals, and product recommendations to meet sales goals
• Gather and review supporting documents, explain requirements, and obtain feedback from loan platforms
• Initiate outbound calls, visit branches, and build relationships with real estate partners
• Manage loan rates and timelines, ensuring high member service standards
• Participate in training and mentor team members on loan processes

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; NMLS requirements met or in progress
• At least 3 years of relevant experience and knowledge of lending regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Understanding of financial documents, title reports, insurance, and secondary market guidelines
• Customer-focused, adaptable, knowledgeable in financial and regulatory aspects, with strong interpersonal skills
