Senior Marketing & Proposals Specialist
About the role
The purpose of this position is to provide a center of excellence for proposal development and production with a focus on supporting the businesses in the winning of work by providing coordination, editing, writing, formatting, graphics, desktop publishing, presentations, production, and systems to support the Business Lines' sales and marketing, functional, and corporate requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and control the development process of proposals, qualifications, client presentations, internal publications, and multimedia marketing collateral designed to help maintain a favorable company image and attain specific marketing objectives.
- Determine the scope of work, develop compliance checklists, set a production schedule, manage level of services and resources, and track any special requirements necessary to get the job done (this can include coordinating ancillary projects that include multimedia and graphic projects) by the established deadline.
- Work directly with the proposal manager and/or business line sales to produce proposals that fully reflect the client requirements and needs.
- Participate in and/or lead the kickoff meeting, proposal reviews, and proposal-planning meetings.
- During proposal development, organize the process for collecting author input and ensure that all standards are met, including format consistency within the proposal collateral.
- Provide editorial, coordination, and management services, as required, to produce responsive, clear, consistent, and readable qualifications documents, proposals, presentations, and reports.
Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Basic job requirements include accreditation in an applicable field of study, work experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job includes knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
- Preferred qualifications include an accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent or work experience in English, marketing, communications, design, or business.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to lead are a must.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Able to organize, expedite, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Keen sense of attention to detail.
- Able to handle stress, work with high energy, and work beyond normal work hours, as needed, with little to no advance notice.
- Able to accommodate a flexible schedule; willing and able to adapt to the demands of a high-paced corporate environment.
- Capable of applying marketing principles to Fluor’s business activities.

Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range
$83,000.00 - $154,000.00
