Senior Marketing Director

About the role

A leading integrated healthcare system serving millions of patients across New York is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to drive regional marketing initiatives across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. This highly visible role has significant business impact, spanning hospitals, physician practices, ambulatory care centers, specialty treatment programs, and community health services.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional marketing strategy for hospitals, outpatient facilities, and priority service lines.
• Partner with executive leadership, hospital presidents, physicians, and service line leaders to identify business opportunities and address growth challenges.
• Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies that drive patient acquisition, market share, and brand awareness.
• Lead commercialization efforts for new healthcare services, programs, and specialty offerings.
• Translate business intelligence, competitive insights, and performance metrics into actionable marketing plans.
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary marketing team while aligning stakeholders around strategic initiatives.
• Present recommendations and business cases to senior executives and influential physician leaders.

Requirements

• 12-15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
• Healthcare provider experience strongly preferred.
• Candidates from pharmaceutical organizations with significant commercialization experience in oncology, transplant, orthopedic, or specialty-care products will also be considered.
• Proven ability to connect business objectives with marketing strategy and measurable results.
• Exceptional executive presence and confidence working with senior leadership.
• Strong relationship-building, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience navigating large, complex organizations and driving alignment across multiple teams.

Pay

Competitive compensation package with a base salary and 10-12% annual bonus.

Schedule

Hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite weekly in New Hyde Park and other Long Island, NY locations. Flexibility required for meetings with physicians, hospital leadership, and executive stakeholders throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
