Senior Manufacturing Planning Specialist

At General Dynamics Mission Systems, you'll lead amazing engineers as they invent the technologies, products and services that help our service members, intelligence analysts and first responders keep our nation safe. We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers' missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.

Responsibilities

• Represent the production and material planning function on concurrent engineering teams
• Compile and monitor monthly production schedules
• Create complex material structures in the material planning tool
• Identify process flow improvements and implement
• Prepare labor and material forecasts as requested
• Interface periodically with supply chain or suppliers on delivery issues and problem resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
• Exceptional understanding of bill of material concepts and methodologies
• Solid understanding of the proposal process for both material and labor estimating
• Extremely proficient with material planning tools

Pay

USD $78,033.00/Yr. - USD $84,434.00/Yr. Actual pay may vary based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
