Key responsibilities
- Drive sustainable growth of the retrofit business by building and converting a strong sales pipeline
- Develop and execute innovative go-to-market strategies, commercial models and value propositions
- Engage senior stakeholders (including C-suite) to understand long-term business objectives and position solutions accordingly
- Lead consultative, value-based sales cycles, aligning proposals to customer KPIs (e.g. profitability, sustainability, efficiency)
- Negotiate and close complex, long-cycle deals with strategic customers
- Capture insights, maintain CRM accuracy, and translate data into clear, actionable plans
- Champion innovation by piloting new approaches and continuously refining strategies based on market feedback
About you
- Proven track record in complex B2B sales, ideally within marine or industrial sectors
- Strong experience managing long-cycle opportunities and senior stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and close high-value deals
- Skilled at leading cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Experience shaping commercial strategy, solution offerings, or new business models
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into clear actions
- Confident working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
