Harbor is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join the Toledo team. This role supports general maintenance and facility upkeep to ensure safe, efficient operations across Harbor sites.

Responsibilities
- Maintain facility grounds and exterior areas to ensure safety, appearance, and operational readiness.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance inspections of building systems and equipment.
- Identify potential facility issues before failures occur and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection documentation.
- Assist in preparing areas for improvements such as carpet removal and minor demolition.
- Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance repairs.
- Complete office, furniture, and equipment relocations and installations.
- Perform seasonal snow and ice removal to maintain safe facility access when required.
- Transport materials, equipment, and agency vehicles as required to support maintenance operations.
- Prepare and restore work areas associated with renovations, repairs, and facility improvement projects.
- Perform interior and exterior painting, patching, and finishing work.
- Assist with facility inspections and identify maintenance issues requiring corrective action.
- Respond to routine maintenance requests and support facility operations across all Harbor locations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance, facilities, building operations, construction, or related technical experience.
- Experience performing minor plumbing repairs, including replacing faucets, toilets, sinks, shut-off valves, and clearing drains.
- Experience performing minor electrical work, including replacing switches, outlets, light fixtures, ballasts, and LED lighting components.
- Experience conducting routine HVAC preventative maintenance such as filter replacement, belt inspection, and basic system troubleshooting.
- Ability to utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience painting, patching, and completing general carpentry repairs.
- Must be able to move and carry heavy objects including furniture and equipment.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions as assigned.
- Must remain up to date on annual Defensive Driving for 15-Passenger Vans training requirement.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of personal auto insurance policy to be deemed insurable with Harbor’s vehicle insurance carrier.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Facilities Maintenance, Building Systems Technology, HVAC, Electrical Technology, Construction Management, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Technical certifications in one or more skilled trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or general building maintenance.

Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
