Senior Maintenance Technician

Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions

• Maintain and inspect buildings, furnishings, equipment and grounds.
• Perform or assist with repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations.
• Conduct routine inspections and address concerns impacting building performance, employee comfort, and safety.
• Assist with reconfigurations, furniture relocations, and event setups.
• Support or lead office furniture modifications and facilities maintenance.
• Maintain and safeguard assigned company assets.
• Oversee regulatory inspections and maintain service records.
• Collaborate on project budgets and emergency responses.
• Support the Environmental compliance group in recycling locations.
• Report and address safety issues.
• Manage inventory of supplies and parts.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma, GED, or relevant work experience (5 years in facilities, maintenance, construction or related fields).
• Valid driver's license required; safe drivers needed.
• Strong knowledge of building system terms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, math, written, verbal, and collaborative skills.
• Prioritized technical certifications in building systems (generators, UPS, HVAC, fire detection) preferred.
• Experience with commercial chillers, cooling towers, boilers, VFD drives, and pumps preferred.
• Experience with automated Building Management Systems, including HVAC and lighting controls preferred.
