SENIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
About the role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our production team in Wautoma, WI. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our manufacturing equipment running efficiently through proactive preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting of breakdowns, and mechanical/electrical repairs. Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, equipment overhauls, and emergency repairs on production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Utilize multimeters and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- System Adjustments & Alignment: Calibrate, align, and test production equipment and components according to operational specifications.
- Fabrication & Repairs: Perform basic welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical repairs to support plant tooling and machine performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Partner with operations and engineering teams using Lean/World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles to optimize equipment reliability and safety.
- Documentation: Accurate tracking of preventive maintenance tasks, repair history, and work orders within our maintenance system.
Experience Required
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing machinery maintenance.
- Strong background in mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, and fluid power (hydraulics/pneumatics).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated safety-first mindset and strong diagnostic problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Prior experience with basic PLC logic troubleshooting and sensor diagnostics.
- Welding and metal fabrication experience in a production environment.
Pay
This role pays at $35.00/hour. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
