About the role
The Senior Logistics Management Specialist (Supply) position supports the US Army through the Global Logistics Augmentation and Support Services (GLASS) team at Rock Island Arsenal, IL. This role involves conducting CSDP and OIP inspections, evaluating property book and S4 functions, tracking financial liability investigations, and providing regular updates on property accountability and supply operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct CSDP and OIP inspections of Installation Management Command (IMCOM) and HQ ASC subordinate organizations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate Property Book and S4 functions and identify deficiencies, provide corrective actions, and brief results to senior leaders.
- Track and provide status updates for all Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPLs) initiated within the command.
- Compile, review, and provide analysis to the ASC G4 in support of the annual Department of the Army Supply Excellence Award (SEA) Competition.
- Ensure compliance with policies, plans, programs, procedures, and objectives established in property accountability and supply regulatory guidance.
- Use technical expertise in property accountability and supply to resolve execution/policy issues across the command.
- Provide guidance to S4 and PBO personnel at the AFSB, and AFSBn’s / Logistics Readiness Centers (LRCs) on all matters relating to property book and supply management operations.
- Review and interpret data from Logistics Management Property accountability Information Systems to obtain required information for reports and briefings.
- Assess Property Book and supply operation problems, trends, and requirements; advise ASC G-4 if supervisory/management decision/action is required.
- Review and provide feedback on all revisions for Department of Defense (DOD), DA, AMC, and ASC property accountability and supply regulations, policies, and directives.
- Provide regular common operating picture updates to Senior Leaders on subjects related to Property Accountability, FLIPL, and supply operations.
- Provide all logistic service provider Property Book and supply support to the command as needed.
Requirements
- An active Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship.
- A Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of Army Logistics experience.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Organizational Inspection Program Management Systems, Individual Staff Inspections (OIP, ISI’s).
- Ability to compose and prepare responses for the Government's approval/signature.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint at the intermediate level.
- Senior level experience to coach, teach, and mentor personnel in the inspected functional areas.
- Experience with the following Government Regulations, AR 710-2 and AR 735-5.
- In-depth knowledge of Property Book Operations, S4 Operations.
- Proficiency in the use of GCSS-A, Decision Support Tool (DST), LIW, Force Management System (FMS), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) systems.
Qualifications
- Focus on the analysis of the customer’s business goals, objectives, needs, and the general business environment to solve logistical problems.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

- Initiative, judgment, and innovative techniques in resolving property accountability and supply responsibilities.
- Ability to serve as HQ ASC liaison with personnel and activities involved with property accountability and supply management at every level.
- Knowledge of DOD, DA, AMC, and ASC property accountability and supply regulations, policies, and directives.
- Proficiency in using GCSS-A, DST, LIW, FMS, AESIP systems.

Pay
The salary range for this position is TBD. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations.
Schedule
Full-time schedule is typically 40 hours per week.
