Roles & Responsibilities

  • Process reimbursement requests for Federal, State and Operating passthrough programs.
  • Review reimbursement requests and supporting documentation for accuracy.
  • Ensure requested amounts are within budget limits and process Oracle receipts.
  • Forward requests to Accounts Payable for payment release.
  • Maintain financial spreadsheets for tracking reimbursement requests.
  • Support the Local Programs Unit with any issues related to reimbursements and working with Accounts Payable.
  • Prepare annual close-out reports for subrecipient contracts.
  • Resolve payment and check issues with Accounts Payable.
  • Initiate purchase and check requisitions for subrecipient contracts, consultant services, and vehicle purchases.
  • Perform other duties as required by Community Mobility.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Three (3) years of applied accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with generally accepted budgeting, accounting, and reporting principles and practices.
  • Proficient computer skills in Excel and Word.
  • Working knowledge of financial systems such as Oracle is desired.
