Senior Financial Systems Administrator
TL;DR
Kharon is seeking a full-time Senior Financial Systems Administrator based in Denver. This role requires frequent in-office attendance.
About the role
Kharon is a highly disruptive and innovative organization that navigates risk at the intersection of global security threats and international commerce. We provide intelligence on global security data to help clients make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
Own the financial systems roadmap for NetSuite (and adjacent tools like Navan, Zip, Rippling, Planful) — evaluating new modules, integrations, and SuiteApps that support the company's growth and evolving business needs.
Administer, configure, and customize NetSuite — including custom records, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, roles/permissions, and SuiteScript — to meet Accounting, FP&A, and cross-functional requirements.
Serve as the go-to technical advisor to Accounting, Finance, Revenue Operations, and IT on NetSuite best practices, system optimization, and process improvement, translating business needs into scalable system solutions.
Partner with Accounting and domain experts to design and implement new processes in NetSuite using standard functionality, customizations, and third-party integrations.
Manage system upgrades, releases, and enhancements (including NetSuite's semi-annual releases), testing changes in sandbox and coordinating rollout to minimize disruption to close and reporting cycles.
Ensure system security, data integrity, and SOX-like compliance, including role-based access design (partnering with IAM/InfoSec) and segregation of duties controls.
Lead small-to-mid-size financial systems projects end-to-end — new integrations, module rollouts, or process automation — including scoping, timelines, testing, and stakeholder communication.
Provide ongoing user support and training, troubleshooting issues, building documentation, and driving adoption of standard methodologies across NetSuite users.
Support audit, compliance, and reporting needs, building and maintaining reports/dashboards and responding to audit requests with accurate system data.
Maintain confidentiality of financial data and systems, and document policies/procedures for change management, data governance, and system usage.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
5–8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years administering NetSuite in a SaaS/software company environment.
NetSuite Administrator certification (or SuiteFoundation certification).
Hands-on experience with NetSuite workflows, custom records, saved searches/reports, SuiteScript, and API-based integrations.
Strong understanding of core accounting processes (GL, AR, AP, revenue recognition) and how they map to NetSuite configuration.
Experience supporting SOX compliance and segregation-of-duties controls within NetSuite.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and support distributed/remote teams.
Benefits
Base salary range: $145,000 - $165,000. Potential bonuses, commissions, benefits, or equity may be part of the overall compensation package.

Full-sponsorship medical, dental, and vision insurances
FSA program for both medical and dependent care
