Job Summary

This position is within the Corporate Finance organization and will be involved with financial accounting and reporting of Global Corporate departments and Treasury activities.

Responsibilities

  • Performs month-end, half-year and year-end accounting and reporting requirements of stand-alone Global Corporate reporting entities.
  • Supports Financial Accounting Manager with activities supporting North American based entities that may include: financial submissions for Corporate consolidation, maintaining local trial balance, reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis of key financial accounts.
  • Supports Global IT recharges and allocations processes and liaisons with Global IT and Divisional stakeholders.
  • Supports recharges of Corporate costs to international divisional units.
  • Affirms integrity of information provided and performance measurements that are consistent and meaningful to senior management.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Experience

Licensing or Special Certification Requirements

  • Ability to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time.
  • Works within an automotive components manufacturing office setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals.

Job Location Specific Requirements

Position Summary:The Sr Financial System Developer & Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, optimization and development of the OneStream Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platform. This role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, FP&A and IT to support GAAP-based financial reporting, and to ensure system stability, data integrity, security, timely resolution of application issues and continuous improvement. In addition to systems administration, this role provides leadership for OneStream development, is the technical owner of the OneStream platform and reports to the Director of Financial Systems. The ideal candidate combines finance process expertise with OneStream technical administration. They understand how Accounting and FP&A use the platform while also possessing the technical skills to configure, maintain, secure, and optimize the application.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Financial Systems Support
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
  • Provide end user support to global finance teams utilizing the OneStream platform for consolidation, forecasting, budgeting, lease accounting and account reconciliation processes.
  • Ensure successful data loads, consolidations, currency translations, and reporting. Troubleshoot consolidation and calculation issues. Support statutory, management, and external financial reporting requirements.
  • Manage monthly data load processes for corporate functions (Treasury foreign exchange rates, HR headcount-related data)
  • Provide guidance for OneStream support resource
  • System Administration
  • Administer and support OneStream applications, including dimensions, hierarchies, metadata, and security
  • Configure and manage application security, user roles, and workflow access. Support chart of accounts, legal entity structures, and reporting rollups used for external and management reporting
  • Manage OneStream Development, Test, and Production environments, including application migrations, capacity planning, and change management
  • Coordinate migrations using application build and deployment processes
  • Maintain system performance, troubleshoot application issues. Serve as primary liaison with OneStream Support and escalate as needed
  • Coordinate software upgrades, patches, and platform releases
  • Maintain application documentation covering admin processes, troubleshooting and user training
  • Application Development & Configuration
  • Work with Finance team and systems integration partners to lead/support application development that enhances existing functionality and extends the use of the system
  • Build and maintain OneStream artifacts (Cube Views, Dashboards, Reports, Forms, Workflows, Transformation Rules, Business Rules, etc) to enhance and extend the system
  • Lead testing process of periodic system upgrades
  • Develop automation to improve financial processes
  • Support implementation of OneStream Solution Exchange solutions
  • Data Integration
  • Manage integrations between OneStream and source systems such as BPCS, CMS, Kinetics and Flat files
  • Validate data loads and troubleshoot integration issues
  • Build, maintain, and support transformation rules, including mappings, logic, and validations
  • Governance & Controls
  • Maintain application security and segregation of duties
  • Support SOX compliance, Internal Controls compliance and audit requests
  • Follow appropriate change management processes, and documentation requirements
  • Maintain disaster recovery and backup procedures in coordination with OneStream Support policy
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Recommend system enhancements to improve user experience, usability and performance
  • Evaluate new OneStream functionality and Solution Exchange solutions, including AI capabilities
  • Partner with Finance leadership on roadmap planning
  • Support or lead implementation projects and future system expansions

Working Conditions

  • Office environment: work in an office setting within the company’s headquarters. The office environment may be fast-paced and dynamic, especially during peak periods such as month-end or quarter-end close, budgeting cycles, or financial reporting periods.
  • 4 days onsite, 1 day remote each week
