Senior Litigation Attorney

About the role

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm seeking a highly motivated and passionate Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join the team in Indianapolis, IN. Attorneys are expected to meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. They will also provide clients with updates and communicate with insurance companies from time to time regarding status of claims, demands, and offers.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss cases, demonstrate compassion and empathy, and build trust
• Provide clients with regular case updates
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status, demands, and settlement offers
• Evaluate claims and develop case strategy
• Conduct negotiations with opposing parties and insurance carriers
• Represent clients in personal injury trials as first chair

Requirements

• 5+ years of litigation experience
• 4+ personal injury trials as first chair (preferred)
• Active member of the Indiana Bar in good standing
• Experience evaluating personal injury and property damage claims
• Superb negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Team-oriented mindset

Pay

Salary range: $150,000 to $200,000 plus commission.
