Senior Learning Manager, US Commercialization Learning – Oncology/Hematology
About the role
This Senior Manager position is a headquarters-based role reporting to the Associate Director, US Oncology Commercialization Learning. You will work collaboratively across a fast-paced, complex matrix organization—including Oncology Commercialization Teams, the WW Centre of Excellence, and Enterprise Learning Services—to strategically address business needs and deliver value to customers and patients. The role involves close partnership with functions such as Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Medical, Legal, and Compliance, as well as evaluating ongoing Commercialization Learning needs, recommending strategies, and managing budget planning for assigned products.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with training colleagues, Sales, Operations, Marketing leadership, and preceptors to implement results-focused, performance-based, standardized training and development processes.
- Develop a strategic, comprehensive sales training curriculum for training classes, POAs, and other national/regional/district meetings.
- Coordinate and align across the matrix and cross-functional teams to ensure training materials meet Sales and Marketing goals and objectives.
- Ensure training resources (e.g., materials, workshops, infographics/job aids) comply with regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements for assigned projects.
- Deploy and deliver a curriculum covering key competencies: Selling Skills, Scientific Agility (clinical disease state knowledge, competitor and market landscapes), and Business Analytics.
- Work with and/or manage external vendors and internal personnel to design and execute assigned training programs and projects.
- Assess and analyze training program effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick Model.
- Identify and utilize innovative technologies to facilitate adult learning and enhance live and virtual training capabilities.
- Engage the WW Centre of Excellence to share and leverage assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- 1 year of Sales training experience required; 2 years in Hematology and/or Oncology preferred.
- Demonstrated curriculum design experience and understanding of adult learning principles, including leading workshops.
- Effective communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience developing and implementing key learning objectives, strategies, and tactics.
- Problem-solving and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong business analytics to understand market drivers, develop and adjust business plans.
- Experience operating within a highly complex cross-matrix environment; ability to collaborate with Marketing, Sales Operations, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance teams.
- Impact-driven with high learning agility and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and AI applications (e.g., ChatGPT, MS Co-Pilot, Claude).
- Ability to travel for meetings (e.g., Managers Meetings, National Plan of Action Meetings, training initiatives).
Pay
Starting compensation range for this full-time role:
- Madison - Giralda, NJ: $148,750 - $180,250
- Princeton, NJ: $148,750 - $180,250
Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. Final compensation will be determined by demonstrated experience.

Schedule
This role follows BMS’s occupancy structure, which determines work location based on job responsibilities:
- Hybrid (Site-by-design): At least 50% onsite at your assigned facility (e.g., Madison-Giralda or Princeton, NJ). Onsite presence is essential for collaboration, innovation, and productivity.
- Travel: Required for multiple meeting engagements (e.g., Managers Meetings, National Plan of Action Meetings, training initiatives).
