Senior Laboratory Assistant
About the role
Represents the laboratory to the public, physicians, patients and offices while assisting laboratory technical staff, receiving/accessioning and/or processing specimens according to laboratory procedures.
Responsibilities
- Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety; environmental and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED Coursework/Training - Successful completion of a phlebotomy program through a post-secondary school, college, military program, employer, or an equivalent training program.
- Upon Hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification --or-- Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
Qualifications
- Prior phlebotomy experience.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
