Senior Java Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Java Lead to manage technology in complex projects, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful delivery of solutions. This role is based in Orlando, FL and is onsite for a duration of 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews and establish quality assurance processes.
• Oversee performance optimization, implementation of best practices, and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
• Ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility studies (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables; prepare and submit status reports to minimize exposure and closure of escalations.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular or React.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party systems, and cloud services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Implement secure coding standards and application security best practices.
• Collaborate with QA teams in unit testing, integration testing, and production deployments.
• Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps automation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning activities.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java-based backend development.
• Experience with modern frontend technologies (Angular or React).
• Proficiency in microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
