Senior Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Defend clients in a wide variety of insurance matters: coverage disputes, bad faith claims, product liability, general liability, etc.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery; take and defend depositions.
• Manage your caseload from intake through trial or resolution.
• Strategize case directions in consultation with senior partners.
• Handle litigation in both state and federal courts across Texas.
• Negotiate settlements, work with experts, prepare for mediation or arbitration, and see cases through trial when needed.
• Help mentor and train more junior attorneys

Requirements

• JD from accredited law school
• Admitted to Texas Bar and in good standing
• 8+ years of litigation experience
• Experience in insurance defense, general liability, product liability, professional liability and coverage disputes

Pay

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year
