Responsibilities
- Defend clients in a wide variety of insurance matters, including coverage disputes, bad‑faith claims, product liability, and general liability.
- Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and discovery; take and defend depositions.
- Manage caseload from intake through trial or resolution.
- Strategize case directions in consultation with senior partners.
- Handle litigation in both state and federal courts across Texas.
- Negotiate settlements, work with experts, prepare for mediation or arbitration, and see cases through trial when needed.
- Mentor and train junior attorneys.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the Texas Bar and in good standing.
- 8+ years of litigation experience.
- Experience in insurance defense, general liability, product liability, professional liability, and coverage disputes.
Compensation
Base salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 per year, plus an annual bonus.
