About the role
Join the University of Arizona's Center for Assessment, Teaching, and Technology (UCATT) as an Instructional Technologist, where you'll shape the future of digital learning. In this role, you'll collaborate with faculty and staff to create innovative, accessible, and engaging learning experiences through technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to design and implement innovative educational technologies.
- Develop and maintain accessible online course materials and platforms.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
- Provide training and support to faculty on the effective use of technology in the classroom.
- Assist in the development and implementation of UCATT's strategic initiatives related to technology and education.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with educational technology in a higher education setting.
- Experience with web development tools and platforms such as WordPress, Moodle, or Canvas.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of educational psychology and pedagogy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
