Senior Instructional Designer
About the role
We are seeking a Learning Experience Designer to design and transform new hire training and continued development programs for sales and retention call centers. This role will take existing content, such as eLearnings, videos, and simulations, and reimagine it into immersive, hands-on experiences. This position blends instructional design, behavioral insight, and an appreciation for sales communication in a results-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Audit and enhance existing training materials to increase interactivity and learner engagement.
- Create realistic simulations that reflect the nuances of customer conversations in sales and retention environments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to craft conversation flows that mirror real-world scenarios.
- Infuse technology into learning experiences, including gamification, branching scenarios, and adaptive learning tools.
- Shift the training approach from lecture-heavy to experiential, learner-driven formats.
- Ensure content reflects the emotional intelligence and conversational finesse required in sales.
- Continuously evaluate learner feedback and performance data to iterate and improve training assets.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Technical Skills: Articulate 360, with an emphasis on Storyline over Rise; Adobe Creative Cloud; experience with AI tools.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Xyleme; familiarity with rapid video generation tools such as Veyond or Paltunes.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful training design and delivery.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
