Senior HVAC Commercial Technician - SIGN ON BONUS UP TO 5,000

About the role

The ideal HVAC Senior Commercial Service Technician is required to diagnose and repair commercial heating and cooling systems. They must have the ability to work independently, troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial customers.
• Work on up to 50 ton units, exhaust and fresh air systems, mini splits, VRF systems, boilers, and chillers.
• Use dig volt meters and other electronic tools to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
• Follow written and verbal directions to ensure jobs are completed correctly the first time.
• Communicate with customers to ensure they understand the work being completed and can make informed decisions about their systems.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Document all necessary pieces while working on a system.

Qualifications

• Understanding of mechanical and electrical components of HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in working on up to 50 ton units and exhaust/fresh air systems.
• Strong understanding of mini splits, VRF systems, boilers, and chillers.
• Knowledgeable in refrigeration.
• Experience using dig volt meters and electronic tools.
• Previous experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and repair.
