Commercial HVAC Service Tech (5+ years commercial exp)

About the role

BCI Mechanical is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience, be EPA Universal Certified, and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including Rooftop Units (RTUs), Split Systems, Air Handlers, Variable Air Volume (VAV) Systems, Chillers, Boilers, Make-Up Air Units, Exhaust & Ventilation Systems, and Building Automation Controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance and other routine service tasks.
• Communicate directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and represent BCI Mechanical's commitment to quality and professionalism.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• NATE Certification.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Experience servicing multiple commercial HVAC equipment manufacturers.
