Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Chicago, IL – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation: $281,000 – $337,200 annually.

This role will serve as a strategic people partner to business leaders, helping connect talent strategy with operating priorities. You will work across leadership teams and HR functions to support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to influence team performance, leadership capability, and scalable people practices within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Commercial leadership team on organizational design and workforce planning
• Develop HR strategies with the Chief Commercial Officer to support growth
• Translate business needs into actionable HR plans
• Use analytics to recommend talent strategies for performance improvement
• Champion enterprise HR strategies across the organization
• Guide leaders through performance management processes
• Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
• Advanced degree (MSHR, MBA) preferred
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, preferably in life sciences
• Experience with Workday is a plus
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information and prioritize multiple tasks
