Senior Human Resources Business Partner

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will serve as a strategic people partner to business leaders, helping connect talent strategy with operating priorities. You will work across leadership teams and HR functions to support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to influence team performance, leadership capability, and scalable people practices within a life sciences environment. Location: Chicago, IL - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $281,000 – $337,200 annually Responsibilities Advise the Commercial leadership team on organizational design and workforce planning Develop HR strategies with the Chief Commercial Officer to support growth Translate business needs into actionable HR plans Use analytics to recommend talent strategies for performance improvement Champion enterprise HR strategies across the organization Guide leaders through performance management processes Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required Advanced degree (MSHR, MBA) preferred PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred 10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, preferably in life sciences Experience with Workday is a plus Strong communication and project management skills Ability to handle confidential information and prioritize multiple tasks Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance options 401(k) retirement benefits Paid time off Eligibility for commissions for Sales roles and annual bonuses for non-Sales roles Equity or long-term incentive awards where applicable Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
