Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Responsibilities
- Develop strategic partnerships with senior leadership and people managers, providing expert guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement people plans that support engagement, retention, change management, and culture.
- Partner with leaders to successfully navigate organizational growth, workforce changes, and strategic priorities.
- Use data and insights to identify workforce themes and opportunities.
- Own the HR Shared Services function as a core pillar of HR delivery, ensuring efficient, reliable, and employee-focused support across employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and workforce data management.
- Drive continuous improvement of shared services, identifying opportunities for process standardization, automation, and streamlined self-serve solutions that empower employees and leaders.
- Champion Colliers’ values and cultural behaviors in all interactions, acting as a role model across the organization.
- Ensure all HR activities are delivered in compliance with employment law, corporate controls, and our annual business plan.
- Deliver regular updates and reporting on people plans, project progress, and key HR metrics to the Director, Human Resources.
- Proactively identify and escalate emerging issues, exercising sound judgment to ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive HR business partnering experience, with a demonstrated ability to align people strategies with business objectives.
- A university degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience).
- Bilingualism in English and French is considered a strong asset.
- CPHR designation is considered an asset.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence leaders and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using workforce data to drive decisions and recommendations.
- Solid knowledge of employment law, compliance standards, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ownership, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering results.
Compensation
Expected Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000 (CAD)
This compensation range represents our good-faith estimate at the time of posting, based on market benchmarks and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined considering the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and regional considerations.
Annual bonus opportunities are in addition to base salary.
