Senior Human Resources Business Partner
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for the Marketing organization, providing strategic counsel and coaching to senior leaders on talent, organization, and workforce matters.
Partner with Marketing leadership to align people strategies with business objectives, including organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and change management.
Advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, engagement, and complex talent issues, ensuring consistent application of policy, sound judgment, and risk mitigation.
Use data, trends, and business insights to identify organizational needs, recommend actions, and measure the effectiveness of HR strategies and programs.
Lead and support key talent processes for the Marketing team, including talent reviews, succession planning, performance cycles, compensation planning, and leadership development initiatives.
Partners with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning, and Employee Relations, to deliver integrated solutions that support business priorities.
Support leaders through organizational changes, including restructures, team effectiveness initiatives, and change communications, with a focus on maintaining engagement and business continuity.
Build trusted relationships across the Marketing organization and serve as a credible advisor to managers and employees on organizational and people-related matters.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR governance requirements while balancing business needs and employee experience.
Contribute to broader HR initiatives and enterprise projects, bringing a business-focused perspective and helping to drive consistency and impact across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in an HR Business Partner or strategic generalist role supporting senior business leaders.
- Demonstrated experience advising leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and change management.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business priorities into practical people strategies and solutions.
- Excellent consulting, coaching, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
- Experience using HR metrics and insights to inform decisions, identify trends, and recommend actions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- Experience supporting corporate functions such as Marketing, Communications, or other fast-paced, highly collaborative business groups.
- Proven success partnering with senior leaders in a matrixed organization and influencing decisions across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience leading or supporting complex organizational change, transformation, or culture initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
Pay
The base compensation for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 commensurate with experience.
