Responsibilities

• SDLC Project Management - Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, working with the implementation team to meet customer expectations, documenting and communicating project risks to the team.
• Software Analysis - Define requirements and evaluate existing functionality to understand current and future needs, recommending process improvements and automation.
• Software Review and Testing - Perform quality assurance to ensure thorough unit/system testing, developing and executing test plans/cases.
• Support - Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
• Documentation - Create user/operational documentation and release notes for the system.
• Change Management - Ensure project compliance with ePlus Change Management process, coordinating defect resolution.
• Review and Plan Releases - Plan upcoming releases and communicate to the business.
• Communication - Communicate with stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner, eliciting requirements from the business.
• Process Improvement - Evaluate and enhance HR processes through automation, standardization, and system enhancements.
• Partnership - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead analyst role.
• Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) - hands-on configuration, support, and process optimization across HRIS modules.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) - supporting, configuring, or optimizing recruiting workflows with a modern ATS like Greenhouse or similar.
• Led cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query), Power BI, or Tableau.
• Proficient in configuring enterprise applications to meet business requirements, tailoring workflows, user interfaces, and business rules without compromising system integrity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset and the ability to interpret complex information, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
• Deep understanding of user experiences principles and the ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements and process enhancements.
• Skilled in identifying potential project and operational risks, evaluating their impact, and proactively recommending mitigation strategies.
• Preferred Skills: Experience driving process improvement using established methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Agile). Experience with Workforce Management (WFM) systems, including scheduling, timekeeping, and labor optimization (preferably UKG Workforce Management). Experience working with Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Strong hands-on experience with UKG Workforce Management (WFM). Proven success supporting or leading HR technology initiatives and enhancements. Experience participating in one or more end-to-end HRMS implementations.
