Senior HR Generalist

About the role
Leads core HR functions including employee relations, recruitment & onboarding, compliance, training & development and benefits & well-being administration. Ensures compliance with policies and provide guidance to team members and supervisors. Partners with TMX Manager on facility level programs to support employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply HR policies while advising leaders to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Conduct thorough employee relations investigations and prepare accurate, timely documentation.
- Provide training and coach supervisors on effective performance management and corrective action practices.
- Manage candidate interviews, selection processes, and lead comprehensive onboarding and orientation activities.
- Coordinate initiatives that promote employee morale, appreciation, and a positive workplace environment.
- Organize and support engagement activities, including surveys, workshops, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy, process Workday transactions, and complete compliance-related documentation.
- Contribute to change management efforts and help drive continuous improvement across HR processes.
- Evaluate HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and performance, and recommend actionable improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification preferred
- 3+ years progressive HR experience
- Knowledge of employment law and employee relations
- Ability to influence and coach leaders
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Experience with HR Payroll/Timekeeping systems
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience
- Trustworthy – capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information
- Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with all levels in the organization

Pay
Starting compensation for this role ranges from $62,783 to $83,030 yearly.
Schedule
Full-time, salary position. Travel as needed.
