About the role
This position is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations and functions within the Human Resources department, primarily hourly recruiting, and payroll processing. This role supports the HR Manager, empowers employees, and ensuring that our core HR processes are completed accurately. You'll not only be responsible for the accurate processing of time and attendance and assisting with benefits administration, but you'll also be a trusted guide in the employee experience.
Time & Attendance - Where Accuracy Meets Trust
- Oversee timekeeping systems and processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll inputs.
- Partner with managers to resolve attendance issues.
- Continuously improve processes to make time tracking simple, clear, and employee-friendly.
Benefits Administration - Turning Benefits Into Belonging
- Serve as a go-to resource for employees navigating benefits questions and life changes.
- Lead open enrollment and benefits communications that are clear, warm, and easy to understand.
Recruiting - Finding People Who Belong Here
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, from posting to offer.
- Partner with leaders to understand plant needs and translate them into great hires.
- Create candidate experiences that feel personal, organized, and welcoming.
Onboarding - First Days That Feel Like Home
- Design and deliver onboarding that is warm, efficient, and engaging.
- Ensure new hires feel prepared, connected, and confident from day one.
- Partner with managers to create strong first impressions and lasting engagement.
- Continuously refine onboarding to reflect feedback and business needs.
Strategic HR Partner
- Support managers with coaching employees regarding time and attendance.
- Contribute to HR initiatives that strengthen culture, retention, and performance.
- Balance compliance, compassion, and business needs in every decision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related discipline.
- 3+ years of prior human resources and/or payroll experience preferred.
- Experience using an HRIS; UKG preferred.

Education Required: Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration or related field.
