    • Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities for grants-related projects, including Research Performance Progress Reports.
    • Develop and maintain biosketches, other support documents, and other grant-related documents.
  • Post-Award
    • Meet regularly with RBA and PI to review all active accounts, preview the state of the portfolio prior to the meeting, and develop an agenda for discussion and action items, keeping in mind investigator, departmental, and institutional priorities.
    • Track staff and faculty salary support allocations as well as general spending.
    • Monitor effort maps against the funds that the department is receiving.

    • For electronic submissions, upload all documents in the correct format and ensure that all required elements are accurate and complete. Work closely with the sponsored projects office to see the proposal through to submission.
    • For paper submissions, compile all components and oversee sign-off, copying, collating, and mailing of all required documents.
    • Write all ‘non-science’ grant sections, including facilities and resource descriptions, human subjects protection, project management, data security, organizational capabilities, budget justifications, and draft letters of support.
    • Work with investigators to write grant-specific biosketches.
    • Complete enrollment tables, compile and format references and appendices.
    • Compile above sections along with sections written by investigative team members (including sub-sites), ensure uniform document formatting, and oversee review and editing of the entire document by the team.
    • Draft and review budgets with PI based on personnel and non-personnel costs; work with Research Business Administrator to format and formalize.
    • Maintain PI Other Support; ensure biosketches, facilities page, etc., are kept current.
    • Obtain needed documents from subcontractors; initiate agreements.
  • Other duties:
