Senior Government Contracting Billing Specialist - (100% Remote)

Position Description

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare government contract project invoices, including necessary invoicing schedules and back-up data.
• Review organizational billing practices to ensure invoice accuracy within contractual terms, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and DCAA requirements.
• Prepare and analyze schedules for accounts receivable and unbilled receivables.
• Work on collection follow up of invoices issued until payment arrives.
• Aid in the preparation and processing of final invoices utilizing both a Cumulative Allowable Cost Worksheet and Cumulative Cost Reconciliation method.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's Degree (High School Diploma with years of relevant experience in lieu of degree is acceptable).
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant Billing in the Government contracting arena, or an additional 2 years of experience with High School Diploma.
• Experienced knowledge in Excel.
• Experience with Costpoint or experience in using an SAP Database.
• Strong collections experience.
• Knowledge of Account Analysis and Reconciliation.
