Key Responsibilities
- Support effective global Project Team meetings that provide a forum for communication, removing obstacles and resolving issues.
- Ensure meeting deliverables and agreements are carried out.
- Lead the team development of the project timeline and budget with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Maintain, monitor and report project progress and perform updates to timelines and budget.
- Communicate difficult concepts to ensure team members understand and are aligned with project goal and objectives, project plan, critical path and potential critical path activities.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and to agreed upon quality.
- Cook up and compile global project scope documents and plans.
- Work with project team members to assure that the sub-teams are aligned and that functions are applying resources as necessary to accomplish the sub-teams’ goals.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 7-10 years of experience.
- A Master's degree (or equivalent) and 5 years of pharmaceutical development experience preferred.
- PMP certification a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical development programs including basic understanding of clinical and cMC development, commercial principles and health authority requirements.
- Project Management skills such as development of timelines, identification of critical path, budget management, pharmaceutical risk analysis and mitigation, strong communication skills, driver of team activity required.
- Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents.
- Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence.
- Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts.
- Ability to present to groups across the organization.
