TCS offers a competitive base salary range of $100,000 to $130,000 per annum.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience implementing SAP S/4 HANA, specifically as a PP and QM Functional Consultant, preferably for a USA-based manufacturing company.
  • Proficiency in SAP’s standard implementation framework and hands-on experience designing and implementing complex, heterogeneous landscapes (SAP and non-SAP).
  • Experience conducting workshops with business users for process analysis, design, and configuration related to Production Planning and Quality Management.
  • Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP PP and QM modules.
  • Experience integrating SAP with PLM, QM, and MES systems (SAP and non-SAP).
  • Expertise in Production Planning, Quality Management, Plant Maintenance, Costing, and Backflush issue resolution.
  • Strong understanding of MRP in manufacturing environments.
  • Extensive experience in testing and validating end-to-end scenarios.
  • Experience planning data migration for PP and QM data objects, including cutover strategy.
  • Experience identifying and executing cut-over activities, Go-live, and post-Go-live support.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements Analysis: Gather site-specific “AS-IS” processes and map them to “To-Be” standard SAP workflows.
  • Functional Testing: Conduct unit and integration testing; coordinate user acceptance testing with business process owners to validate configurations.
  • Data Migration Support: Assist with final validation of cleansed site data before loading into the live system.
  • Production Process Mapping: Design manufacturing workflows for various production types.
  • Master Data Configuration: Define site-specific BOMs, routings, and work centers reflecting actual plant equipment.
  • MRP Live Implementation: Configure MRP to automate raw material reordering based on real-time consumption.
  • Shop Floor Execution: Set up production order creation, release, and confirmation processes, including capacity planning to manage machine bottlenecks.
  • Cross-Module Integration: Ensure seamless data flow with MM and SD modules.
  • Inspection Planning: Design inspection plans and master inspection characteristics for raw materials and finished products.
  • In-Process Inspections: Set up automated quality checks during production operations.
  • Result Recording & Usage Decisions: Train site staff to record quality results and make usage decisions (Accept/Reject) before stock release.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Configure quality notifications to track defects, assign root-cause accountability, and manage rework or scrap processes.
  • Procurement Quality: Manage inspections for incoming raw materials at the goods receipt stage to ensure vendor compliance.
