About the Role
We are seeking an SAP S/4 HANA MM Functional Consultant with a minimum of 8+ years of experience implementing SAP S/4, preferably for a USA-based manufacturing company.
Responsibilities
- Gather site-specific “AS-IS” processes and map them to “To-Be” standard SAP workflows (Requirements Analysis).
- Conduct unit/integration testing and coordinate user acceptance testing with site business process owners to validate configurations (Functional Testing).
- Deliver hands-on training sessions and create localized SOPs and manuals for site staff (User Training).
- Assist with the final validation of cleansed site data before it is loaded into the live system (Data Migration Support).
- Map local site purchasing habits into S/4HANA, including setup of Purchase Organizations, Plants, and Storage locations (Procure-to-Pay localization).
- Lead the ‘wall-to-wall’ inventory count and data migration to ensure legacy stock levels match the new S/4HANA system at go-live (Inventory & Physical Stock Validation).
- Configure batch management for building materials to ensure traceability of raw materials from receipt through production (Batch & Serial Management).
- Clean and migrate site-specific vendor records and set up purchase info records to automate pricing for local suppliers (Vendor Management & Master Data).
- Fine-tune MRP Live on-site to ensure the system accurately triggers reorders for raw materials based on real-time production consumption and lead times (Material Requirements Planning).
Requirements
- Proficiency in SAP’s standard implementation framework and hands-on experience designing and implementing complex and heterogeneous landscapes (SAP and non-SAP).
- Experience conducting workshops with business users for process analysis, design, and configuration needs pertaining to MM functionalities.
- Proficient knowledge of all major business processes and functionalities in the P2P stream: Sourcing and Procurement, Logistics Process, Warehouse & Inventory Management, and Invoicing Process.
- Deep understanding of complex legal and regulatory requirements, third-party interactions, plant abroad operations, foreign trade/Intrastat, and legacy data migration.
- Integration knowledge between Purchase and other functional areas, with specific reference to Finance, Production, and Logistics.
- Hands-on experience in data cleansing and conversion-related activities.
- Cut-over activities identification and execution, along with Go-live and Post Go-live Support.
- Experience integrating with Planning systems (SAP/non-SAP).

Bachelor of Computer Science.
Pay
Base salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 per annum.
