Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role

The Atlas Innovation Team is dedicated to building forward-leaning software solutions that equip national security customers with the tools they need to meet emerging challenges. This role places you at the forefront of Atlas Tech’s mission innovation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Define, scope, and deliver full-stack features across the Innovation Team’s product roadmap
• Engage with users and mission partners to uncover pain points and translate them into well-designed technical solutions
• Arcitect and implement scalable cloud infrastructure in support of new and existing applications
• Build intuitive frontend interfaces and robust backend services
• Identify areas for technical and process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance our development workflows
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and mission engagement teams to deliver high-impact capabilities
• Ensure solutions meet high standards of quality, performance, reliability, and security
• Support rapid prototyping, iteration, and deployment in dynamic operational environments

Requirements

• Proven experience as a full stack engineer or similar role
• Strong proficiency with our core tech stack: AWS cloud infrastructure, Python, TypeScript, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, CI/CD tools, IaC tools, Docker
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization frameworks
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools
• Strong desire to build meaningful, mission-driven technology
• Continuous learning mindset and willingness to experiment, iterate, and innovate
• Ability to work onsite with customers approximately 25% of the time (travel covered)
