About the role

This role oversees the financial operations of the Tullahoma, TN manufacturing plant. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance, improving cost efficiency, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting factory product line transitions, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, and managing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations of the Tullahoma, TN manufacturing plant.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and improve cost efficiency.
  • Be a strong business partner to the site leader and the site leadership team.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional teams within the site and business units to drive financial initiatives and process improvements.
  • Support any number of factory product line transition initiatives that come about over time.
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement and innovation that values learning and a commitment to quality.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance, if required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and CPA certification preferred.
  • Seven (7)+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally in a large organization.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Expertise in financial management, including general ledger, P&L, and balance sheet oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and driving cost efficiencies.
  • Experience with tools like Tableau and/or SAP BI; Six Sigma experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with a focus on influencing and driving change.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Pay

$130,000.00 - $160,000.00 + benefits.
