Senior Manager - Finance, Supply Chain
Position Summary
The Senior Finance Manager, Global Supply Chain serves as the primary finance business partner to Global Supply Chain, Distribution, Planning, Customer and Operations. This role provides financial leadership across the end-to-end movement of products—from supplier shipment through customer delivery—with responsibility for logistics costs, inventory, working capital, network optimization, and total landed cost. Working closely with the Global Sourcing Finance team, this leader ensures sourcing decisions are evaluated through the lens of total landed cost, transportation economics, inventory implications, and evolving global trade regulations. The role will play a critical part in building a forward-looking, data-driven Supply Chain Finance organization capable of supporting a global business operating in an increasingly dynamic geopolitical, regulatory, and trade environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance leader who understands the realities of a global import-driven business and can translate complex market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Supply Chain Finance Partnership
Serve as the primary finance partner to Global Supply Chain leadership.
Partner closely with Global Sourcing Finance to provide an integrated financial perspective across the end-to-end supply chain.
Influence operational and strategic decision-making by providing actionable financial insights and recommendations.Logistics & Distribution Finance
Lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for Ocean freight and Domestic transportation.
Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency while maintaining customer service levels.
Monitor transportation costs, carrier performance, and logistics trends to support cost optimization initiatives.Trade & Tariff Analysis
Monitor and assess the financial implications of evolving global trade regulations.
Develop scenario models to support Freight market changes, Tariff changes, Inventory investments, Demand shifts and Capacity constraints.
Develop scenario analyses that enable leadership to respond quickly and effectively to changing regulatory environments.Business Intelligence & Cross Functional Partnerships
Develop scalable reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to provide leadership with timely insights into supply chain performance for landed cost and freight cost per unit.
Drive automation and improve data quality through collaboration with Data & Analytics teams.
Translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
Build strong partnerships across Finance, Global Sourcing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Operations, Trade Compliance, Commercial Finance, and Data & Analytics teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
8+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant exposure to supply chain, logistics, distribution, or operations finance within a consumer products, retail, or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of global supply chain economics, including freight, logistics, inventory management, and working capital.
Experience supporting an import-driven global business.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
Experience developing dashboards and working with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
