Senior Federal Contracts Administrator
About the role
You will work directly with Business Unit lawyers to review, redline, negotiate, and administer the business aspects (terms and conditions) of contracts for assigned business units.
Responsibilities
- Review NDAs, RFPs, teaming agreements, contracts, change orders, and other legally binding documents.
- Analyze requests for proposal and contract terms to identify business risks, suggest edits, assist with pricing strategy, and support contract compliance.
- Provide the first legal review and redline of contractual documents, obtain input from internal departments, and assist with negotiation of client contracts.
- Coordinate review of contractual documents with Legal, Tax, Operations, Risk Management, and other internal departments.
- Advise management and technical personnel of business risks and consolidated review comments.
- Negotiate agreements with clients.
- Obtain Certificates of Insurance and financial guarantees (e.g., bonds, letters of credit) as required.
- Advise and train technical personnel on contract administration, risk avoidance, change order management, and cost and pricing.
- Review project setup forms to ensure properly reviewed, approved, and executed contracts and consistency with contractual requirements.
- Identify and negotiate contract changes with clients.
- Provide support in proposal preparation, contract review, negotiation, monitoring, close-out, indirect rate adjustments, and audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 10+ years of experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating contracts in environmental remediation, technical solutions, design/build, architect/engineering, decommissioning & removal, and related markets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on the selling side of contract administration (company-to-owner contracts vs. company-to-subcontractor/vendor contracts).
- Previous experience managing federal contracts for executive department agencies.
- Experience managing contracts funded by federal grant programs.
- Team player with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage several deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

Pay
As of the date of this posting, the pay range for this position is $85K to $107K per year. Compensation depends on experience, education, key skills, geographic location, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity.
