About the role
This role focuses on strengthening Dry Etch manufacturing performance by reducing operational risk and building stable, predictable capacity. You'll work closely with Manufacturing, Process Development, Industrial Engineering, and Operations to improve cycle time, throughput, and redundancy while supporting aggressive program timelines. Your work directly influences fab performance and development success.
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve systemic Dry Etch area issues affecting throughput, cycle time, and operational risk
- Model capacity planning using SQL and Python and lead floor scheduling, and line management for the Dry Etch area
- Drive area performance using clear metrics, risk assessments, and data-informed capital decisions
- Partner with Industrial Engineering, Process Development, Manufacturing, and Operations to evaluate capacity scenarios and mitigation plans
- Lead safety and quality efforts including audits, good catches, and human QDR follow-up
- Analyze operational data to communicate trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Through strong leadership, optimally collaborate with stakeholders to drive projects, lead strategic meetings and drive capacity management decisions
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment capacity planning for Dry Etch process
- Demonstrated experience in fab capacity planning, floor scheduling, line management systems and fab operations
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities and continuously learn in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing or deploying area-level operational management tools or techniques
- Background validating planning assumptions or supporting area-level strategic planning
- Experience driving consistent manufacturing procedures across cross-functional teams and with senior leadership
- Leading and influencing independently
- Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes
