About the role
The Sr. Electrical/Control System Engineer supports the Revere brand, a leading provider of automation and control solutions for various industries. Key responsibilities include designing, managing, testing, implementing, and completing projects efficiently while meeting or exceeding project specifications and budget requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical control panels and systems to meet project specifications and division design standards.
- Cook up procedures and plans for factory and field testing of control panels and systems.
- Develop PLC and HMI applications per project specifications and across multiple platforms using division/industry standards and best practices.
- Specialize in sophisticated solutions for process control systems.
- Manage multiple large projects following company procedures and guidelines.
- Coordinate projects and resources to meet expected deliverables for quality, schedule, and budget.
- Direct and supervise teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring for others with a thorough knowledge of industry standards and procedures.
- Supervise others, validate designs, and mentor others.
- Provide technical expertise being sought for advice and direction for sophisticated problem solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Basic computer software skills using Microsoft Office Suite, E-Mail, Internet, AutoCAD.
- Minimum of Ten (10) to Fifteen (15) years of related work experience in related field.
- Professional Engineer License desired.
- Specialize in specific industries or technologies with knowledge of what to do as well as how not to do it.
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn technical skills.
- Self-motivated and have a proven ability to assume primary responsibility for all projects with no supervision.
- Knowledge and experience with specialized tools and test equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact with customers, vendors, company employees and subcontractors.
- Demonstrate leadership skills for mentoring, training, and development of team members.
