Senior Director, Product Marketing
Overview
We're seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead positioning, messaging, and go-to-market efforts across Klaviyo's largest and most strategic product portfolios, including Marketing, Data Platform, and AI. This role also involves leading the GTM PMM team to translate innovation into impact for a wide range of customers.

Responsibilities
- Craft differentiated, unified positioning & messaging for Klaviyo Marketing - spanning AI, omnichannel automation, and our full channel suite: email, SMS/RCS, WhatsApp, mobile push, and social
- Partner with Product Managers, the field as the voice of our customers, GTM teams, and the market to help shape our product roadmap, especially as we scale our AI agent capabilities
- Establish Klaviyo as the definitive thought leader in B2C marketing by developing a strong POV on what it means for AI to handle the work of marketing - not just assist it
- Leverage AI-powered workflows to launch new, innovative features and products into market that cut through the noise in the marketing automation landscape
- Build core sales and marketing assets such as pitch decks, one-pagers, enablement trainings, and more
- Support our Sales teams in strategic deals that require deep product expertise and a strong understanding of B2C customer needs and use cases
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing roles, ideally with a focus on Marketing buyers
- 5+ years of experience directly managing and coaching individual contributors, building the next generation of great product marketers
- A clear perspective on what AI means for buyers and for how marketing teams operate, and a willingness to run your team accordingly with AI-powered workflows
- The ability to connect the "what" to the "so what" for every audience from entrepreneur to global enterprise
- Experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or marketing automation software is a major plus; experience marketing AI products or agentic software is a strong differentiator

- Know what great work looks like - bringing in frameworks and playbooks for the team, while knowing when to create your own playbook to move fast
- Have examples of great positioning and messaging that cut through the noise and differentiated your product or service
- Unafraid of rolling up your sleeves and diving into the work, be it creating messaging, pitch decks, or other assets

Our total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
Pay
The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.
Schedule
This role may require up to 10% travel for purposes such as new hire onboarding, client or partner work if applicable, team meetings, and industry events. Travel is coordinated in advance.
