Senior Director of Enrollment Management, Alpha - $250,000/year USD
Families don’t need more services—they need someone they trust implicitly. This role sits at the heart of that trust. You’ll become the person families turn to when something feels off, when they seek a thoughtful perspective, or when they want to share what matters most. Not out of obligation, but because you’ve earned their confidence. Your influence will shape how they perceive their child’s education at one of two Bay Area locations: downtown San Francisco or San Rafael.
Alpha is building a fundamentally different school. Core academics are completed by students in two hours daily via AI-powered platforms, with the remaining time devoted to critical thinking, public speaking, and real-world execution. No lectures. No busywork. Top 1% national outcomes. Our families are well-advised, sophisticated, and often skeptical. They demand clear reasoning, not rehearsed responses. You’ll steward these conversations over the long term—not just at enrollment, but throughout years of engagement. You’ll speak fluently about AI—its mechanics, its shortcomings, and its significance—especially with families who found companies, invest capital, or demand precision at every turn. If you can’t sustain that caliber of conversation, this role will be demanding. If you can, it becomes one of the most intellectually stimulating roles in education.
This is not account management. It’s enduring trust with ultra-high-net-worth families who expect consistency, judgment, and discretion. If this setting feels natural—and you use AI daily to accelerate your thinking, writing, and operations—you’ll recognize the opportunity immediately.
About the Role
You will own the complete relationship with each family on campus, cultivating trust that strengthens over time. This is a presence-driven role where visibility at critical touchpoints—morning drop-off, afternoon pick-up, and thoughtfully designed parent events—is essential. You’ll lead continuous, substantive conversations about Alpha’s AI-driven approach with highly analytical, technology-oriented families and develop community experiences that foster belonging, advocacy, and referral activity.
